With his diverse background, 秋娃 always approaches clients’ problems from a multi-disciplinary lens.

秋娃·斯特恩(Akiva 船尾) is an associate in our Litigation Group in 多伦多.

秋娃 maintains a general litigation practice including corporate commercial litigation, competition law, regulatory matters, and professional negligence including medical malpractice and auditor liability.

Recently, 秋娃 has authored the following publications:

During his time in the JD/MBA program, 秋娃 was highly involved in both the business and law faculties. At the Faculty of Law, 秋娃 experienced success in several mooting competitions, including: Third Place at the Canada-United States Law Institute Business-Law Case Competition, and was selected as a Finalist and Top Oralist in the 2016 Zuber Moot Competition. At the business faculty, 秋娃 assisted in the creation and management of the first ST udent-run investment fund, holding the inaugural position of Managing Director for two years. 秋娃 was the recipient of the 院长杰出领导奖2017,以及 约翰·怀特塞德博士职业道德与行为奖 在2018年。

秋娃 is one of the founding ambassadors for the Capitalize for Kids Student Investors Challenge, which seeks to promote financial literacy and raise money for mental health initiatives in 多伦多. He also served as a lecturer for the Master of Engineering Management Program at the 温莎大学 and the Continuing Education program at St. Clair College on the topics of Business and Negotiations.

秋娃 obtained his Bachelor of Human Resource Management (Honours) from York University as well as a Master of Industrial Relations and Human Resources from the University of 多伦多. He received his Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from the 温莎大学 在2018年。

秋娃 was called to the Ontario bar in 2019. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association.
