古维 received his JD from the University of 多伦多. Prior to law school, 古维 received his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations (Class 1 Standing) from the University of British Columbia. During his time at UBC, 古维 was a University Senator and a Teaching Assistant at the Sauder School of Business.
In law school, 古维 was an active community member. He served as a Student Ambassador, Pro Bono 学生们 Canada Chapter Executive, and Co-Chair of the South Asian Law 学生们’ Association. He is a 2020 recipient of the South Asian Bar Association’s Student Recognition Award.
古维 was a 2018-2019 Rotman OnBoard Fellow at the University of 多伦多, where he researched board governance for the Office of the Governing Council. 古维 also served on the University Affairs Board during his final year of law school.
古维 joins the firm as an articling student after completing the firm’s summer program, during which he was seconded to a major financial institution. Prior to articling, he worked on projects regarding COVID-19 for the Canadian Legal Information Institute (CanLII). 古维 volunteered with the Law 学生们’ Legal Advice Program in 温哥华 during law school and also completed an academic placement with the City of 多伦多’s Legal 服务 Division.
古维 is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association, SABA 多伦多, and the First Generation Network. Outside of work, 古维 enjoys travelling, trying new restaurants, and watching the 多伦多 Raptors.
