During law school, 内森 worked at the student-run non-profit Student Legal 服务 of Edmonton, where he subsequently volunteered as a supervisor in the Civil and Family Law Project during his second year of law school. 他还参与了其他非营利组织，包括与Pro Bono 学生们 Canada和Edmonton Community Legal Centre相关的计划。
